Berry Protein Smoothie

80 g Frozen berries
150 ml Semi skimmed milk
1 tbsp Almond butter
30 g Vanilla protein powder

Step 1

Place the frozen berries into a high-speed blender. Add the scoop of vanilla whey protein, almond butter and milk. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. Check the consistency and add a splash more milk if needed. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

Recipe Notes
  • This smoothie is designed for a single serving but can easily be doubled. Using frozen berries ensures a thick, chilled texture without diluting the flavour. For a dairy-free option, swap the milk for almond, oat or soy milk and use a plant-based protein powder if preferred. Toppings such as nuts, seeds or extra fresh berries can enhance texture and nutrients. 

Cooking Tips
  • Blend the ingredients on high speed to fully incorporate the protein powder and achieve a creamy texture. Adjust the milk quantity to reach your preferred thickness. Frozen berries give a naturally chilled smoothie; add ice cubes for an even frostier drink. 

Storage Instructions
  • This smoothie is best consumed immediately to retain texture and freshness. If necessary, it can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Shake or blend again before drinking as the mixture may separate slightly. Freezing is not recommended as the texture and flavour may be affected.
